Remembering Baby Talia

Pausing to remember Baby Talia.

Last week I heard the story of a little one, a three year old affectionately known as “Baby T.” As of earlier this year she is no longer with us. I was asked to help bring awareness to her life, the circumstance surrounding her death, and other children’s situations of safety.

Update: Aulis Annual Scholarship

Announcing: The very first Aulis Annual Scholarship was awarded on June 11, 2020. The first two recipients received the scholarship during La Sierra University’s “2020 Scholarship & Awards Event.” Though as donors and recipients, we could not physically share space, we celebrated and offered congratulations via Zoom, which was a very special moment. I’m grateful and humbled to be able to positively impact lives, contributing to successful completion of educational goals and dreams. From idea to fruition, to be able to give back in this way was a personal accomplishment and dream come true. Congratulations students, keep pushing ahead! Looking forward to next year, and beyond.

Announcement: Aulis Annual Scholarship

Another exciting day is here!  Earlier this year I officially walked/graduated with my M.Div. from La Sierra University. As some of you know giving back, reaching out, supporting, and lifting up individuals and communities is very important to me. Just a few of the organizations I’ve spotlighted:

Jordan Porco Foundation http://www.rememberingjordan.org/

iEmpathize http://iempathize.org/

Mental Health America of Los Angeles http://www.mhala.org/

Education Through Music- Los Angeles https://etmla.org/#

Drum Roll……..Following in this same vein of giving back,I’ve established the “Aulis Annual Scholarship.” This was established to aid one male and one female graduate student pursuing their education and calling in ministry at my alma mater the La Sierra University H.M.S. Richards Divinity School. Attending this program was life changing and foundational in doing ministry like this, positively impacting people’s lives. As you think about your year-end giving I ask you to consider partnering with me in this pursuit. See below for details on giving. Live blessed.
